Who Is Julia Jackson?
Julia Jackson works at Jackson Family Wines. This is a wine production company that is headquartered in Santa Rosa, California. Ms. Jackson is the daughter Jess Jackson who founded Jackson Family Wines back in 1983. Julia Jackson’s mother, Barbara Banke also helped to create and expand wine operations.
Julia Jackson previously worked as a spokesperson for Jackson Family Wines. She now works in the sales department, where she sees international sales for her family’s vineyard and wine making business. Ms. Jackson says that wine making is in her blood. She grew up picking grapes and surrounding by vineyards and caskets of aging wines. To her wine represents more than a beverage. It represents her family’s business, passions, childhood, and friendship and of course a tasty and healthy drink to enjoy.
Ms. Jackson studied at Scripps College in Claremont, California. She attended this school from 2006 to 2010. Her major at college was a Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art. After getting her bachelor’s degree, Julia Jackson later enrolled in the Stanford Summer Institute of General Management where she completed a summer program in management there. This was to help her manage her family’s wine operations and gain management insight as she would be overseeing hundreds of employees.

Julia Jackson helped to create the nonprofit group called Cambria Seeds Of Empowerment in 2014. The nonprofit is named in honor of her mother who helped establish the now famous and highly profitable Cambria Estate Winery in 1987. Cambria Seeds of Empowerment awards over $100,000 every year to various charities and groups. Its goal is to honor what Jula Jackson calls warrior women. The charity aims to encourage equality in the workplace and foster a community spirit. It also attempts to help young girls by inspiring them to achieve success and have access to good role models.
